It’s a few months since we adopted Spike (on the right) and Monty. And it looks like they’re good friends now…
Smashwords Interview
I’ve just done the Smashwords author interview thing. Quite fun. I’ll probably add to it later.
Take a look at it here…
New Book Trailer Videos
There are now three book trailer videos!
There’s a new one for ‘The Populist’, which features some noteworthy London landmarks, and that famous old movie cliché, the spinning newspaper.
It’s on YouTube, and also the video page of the main web site, where the complete YouTube playlist is available.
Then there’s a video for ‘The Régime Change Man’, in which you can see some very beautiful Namibian landscapes. It’s on YouTube and the video page.
Books available on Amazon’s international sites
Paperbacks and eBooks are now available all across Amazon’s international sites.
There’s a complete listing on the Black Spike Books web site, here.
Paperbacks are available in the UK, US, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Japan, Canada, and (maybe a bit later) India.
eBooks are available in all these countries, as well as Brazil, Mexico, the Netherlands and Australia.
Video Trailer for The Plutocrat
There’s now a short video trailer for The Plutocrat.
It’s one minute and thirty-six seconds long, and it features some of the book’s Madagascan locations.
It’s on the video page of the web site, and it’s on YouTube, here.
Yes, and there are two really cute lemurs in it…
Nook Books
All three books are now available from Barnes and Noble and Nook!
(See the links on the right.)
Spike and Monty
Our two cats are Spike and Monty.
They’re rescue cats from Cats Protection in Archway, North London. They both have FIV.
Spike’s the one on the right. He’s about eighteen months old, and he’s very lively and athletic. His purr is very quiet, and he doesn’t miaow much, but he makes some very sweet chirruping noises. I named my publishing operation – Black Spike Books – after him!
Monty is much older; we’re not sure of his age. The vet thinks he’s at least nine. He used to be a street cat, and he looks a bit bashed-up. He’s extremely affectionate and has a very loud purr. But he loves people-food, especially milk and bread, which he’s not allowed to have. This morning he broke into our food recycling bin…
Three new books…
Today’s the day.
All three books are now available for people to buy. Will anyone? We’ll see.
Paperbacks and Kindle books are available on Amazon.
eBooks are also available from iBooks, Kobo, Google Play, Smashwords and (shortly) Nook.
And booksellers can order paperbacks from either CreateSpace or Ingram.
OK, now I have to finish the web site…
